WEBINAR | Participation of the TCO Cluster in our webinar with the Radicalisation Awareness Network

On Monday 29 January 2024, the TCO Cluster, a network comprising three European Projects (FRISCOALLIES, and TATE) was presented in our webinar titled: Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism online: a discussion with the Radicalisation Awareness Network. The webinar was organised by FRISCO with the participation of experts from the Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN), having two key objectives:
– To discuss the latest findings in the field of online radicalisation and extremism with experts from RAN Policy Support.
– To discuss with experts from RAN Practitioners practical approaches and tools for curbing online extremist content and radicalisation processes.

The TCO Cluster has highlighted the ways each project contributes to the provision of support and dissemination of information regarding the TCO Regulation to Hosting Service Providers (HSPs) and showcased the tools that will be employed for this purpose.

FRISCO project – Pierre Sivignon
TATE project Paula Gomila Marqués
ALLIES project – Martina Bogdanova

More precisely, FRISCO is dedicated to the development of the its toolbox, as well as training modules and best practice materials. TaTE extends technical support and implements a mentoring program, while ALLIES focuses on offering an AI-based framework to support HSPs on reporting and removing terrorist content online. This concerted endeavor constitutes a comprehensive initiative geared towards supporting and informing HSPs about the EU Regulation on Terrorist Content Online.
